The IceWork Lab: live demos of what we build
Screenshots prove nothing. Everything on this page is running in your browser right now: click it, drag it, break it. We build with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, which lets a small Blackpool team design, test and ship work like this quickly, and then we check it on real phone and desktop screens.
Aesthetic switcher: escaping the generic AI look
Most AI-built websites look the same: rounded cards, soft shadows, a blue button. Good design means choosing a direction on purpose. Switch this one pricing card between four looks: the same content, structure and accessibility, restyled entirely through layout and type rules.

The default most AI tools produce: rounded card, soft shadow, blue button. Fine, forgettable.
Component forge: build a layout in seconds
Every site we make is assembled from small, tested building blocks. Change the grid, the motion and the type density below and the CSS updates live underneath, the same rules we would ship to your site.
Procedural 3D: a sculpture made from maths
No 3D model was drawn by hand. Each shape is generated from equations (spiral arms, torus knots, interfering waves) and a random seed, then rendered on your graphics card with Three.js. Drag to rotate it, move your pointer or tilt your phone to look around it, or press Regenerate for a new one.
Loading the 3D scene…
Checking the time and weather where you are…
The scene's colours follow your local time and the current weather near you: deep blue with falling rain on a wet night, warm amber on a sunny afternoon. We use only the approximate town that our host already knows; see our privacy notice.
Infinite canvas: a portfolio with no edges
Drag in any direction (or use the arrow keys) and the canvas keeps going for ever. Every cell is partitioned and linked by a seeded pattern, so the same place always looks the same when you come back to it. Orange nodes are real websites we run: tap one to visit it.
With sound on, each website node hums: move your pointer towards one and the low pulse grows louder and pans between your left and right speakers. Best with headphones. It uses the Web Audio API's spatial panner, generated live in your browser with no audio files.
The full list of sites is on our portfolio page.
Behind the scenes: an app backend at work
Websites are only half of what we build. This is a simulation of the admin view for a passwordless sign-in system, the kind we can build with a small SQLite database on Cloudflare and an email-sending service: visitors get a one-time sign-in link instead of a password, every step is logged, and failures retry automatically.
What this means for your business
You probably don't need a 3D galaxy on your homepage. But the same skills go into every site we build: interfaces with a deliberate look instead of a template, pages that stay fast while doing clever things, and back-end systems such as bookings, sign-ins and logs that look after themselves. Whether you need a Blackpool website, SEO or something more ambitious, tell us what you have in mind.
