Redesigning an existing site

If you already have a website, we start by looking at what works. We keep the addresses of pages that already rank on Google, or redirect them properly to the new pages, so you keep the search traffic you have earned. Then we fix whatever is holding the site back, whether that is speed, confusing navigation or thin content.

Need a logo first?

A website looks its best with a strong logo and consistent colours. If you don't have them yet, see our logo design service (custom logos from £50) and branding in Blackpool. We design them to suit your website from the start.

Who writes the words?

You know your business best, so we start with a short questionnaire and a chat. We then write clear, plain-English wording for each page and send it to you to check. You can also supply your own text if you prefer.

Making changes later

Small changes, such as new photos, opening hours or prices, are included with our hosting and care plan. Larger additions, such as new service pages, are quoted separately in advance.

Questions

Do you use WordPress?

Usually not. For most small business sites, a hand-built site is faster, more secure and needs far less maintenance. If you need a content system for regular blogging we will talk through the options.

Will I own the website?

Yes. Your domain and your content are yours. If you ever want to move, we will hand everything over.

Can you add online booking or payments?

Yes. Links to the booking system you already use cost £50 as an extra. We can also set up a simple payment option. See also our page on online shops.
